This article discusses NSFW content.
Content moderation is the process of reviewing and approving user-submitted content like characters and lorebooks to make sure it follows our community guidelines. It also involves removing content that violates our rules.
WyvernChat uses a combination of human moderators and an AI moderation assistant we call Bob the Skull. Bob helps speed up the approval process by automatically reviewing all characters. If Bob doesn't approve your submitted content, don't worry! It'll go to our human Content Moderation Team for review, and if there's an issue with it, they'll send you a message letting you know exactly what's wrong and how you can fix it. Lorebooks are also reviewed by Bob, but don't yet come with messages if they're declined by our team.
What does None, Mature, and Explicit mean? Read on!
Here is a breakdown of each rating:
No, unless you're repeatedly creating Explicit characters and rating them as None or Mature, and you were told in a Moderator message to stop. We aren't out to get you.
You're free to choose your tags, but if your bot includes any of the following, they must be tagged accordingly:

If you'd like to help out our moderators, we encourage you to keep an eye out for potential violations that have slipped through the cracks and submit a report! Our team reviews these reports daily and will investigate these issues for you, taking actions as necessary. If a character is incorrectly rated, is missing a particular tag, or depicts something that isn't allowed, make sure to detail it in the report's description. The more information you give us, the faster we'll be able to fix the issue.
We do ask that you please take a look at our rules and policies before submitting reports, as well as refrain from submitting frivolous reports of characters you don't personally like. These type of reports simply waste our volunteer moderators' time and make us sad.
If you commit an outright, egregious, and unrepentant violation of our rules or policies, your account may be banned from WyvernChat. This is for only the most serious of violations, like the outright sexualization of minors, the promotion of real-world hatred and discrimination, or other extremely harmful activity. We don't take this action lightly, but sometimes it has to be done for the protection of our users and the site as a whole. If your account has been banned, then we apologize, but we will no longer allow you to use WyvernChat. Any form of ban evading will result in further account bans.
